Stars such as Angelina Jolie have raised awareness about the issues facing children in impoverished countries. Angelina adopted a child named maddox from Cambodia, and just recently adopted a second child. As a loving mother who has an strong interest in world issues, Angelina is doing what she can to change the world. Adopting a child from a poor country has now become a trend, both within hollywood, and normal households as well. But should something as serious as taking a child from their home and raising them in your own country be a "trend", like uggs, and big sunglasses? Just like having a child of your own, it is a challenge that I don't think everyone is ready for. When we see stars such as Angelina Jolie cuddling such cute children( aw, just look at them!), we have the urge to follow in her footsteps. This is a wonderful thing to do, but should not be a trendy thing that people want to do just because "they" are doing it. These are beautiful, young children that were unfortunately born in a poor country. I just hope that this is becoming the new "it" thing because people are trying to help the world, and not because Angelina Jolie, a style icon, is shown in photos with cute little foreign children. We have to accept that we arent all Angelina Jolies, or millionaires!!
